Mark is an Associate Professor at Hamilton College where he teaches a variety of acting courses as well as African American Theatre.

He has taught at Cornell University and Hobart & William Smith and written numerous other plays including Objects In The Mirror Are Closer Than Appear, Buzzard Luck, and No Other People. Mark has performed Off-Broadway, in television, film, and at many regional theatres. He is a member of Actors Equity (AEA) and the Association for Radio & Television Artists (AFTRA).

Mark has received a Fiscal Sponsorship from the New York Foundation on the Arts (NYFA), four Faculty Innovation Grants from Hamilton College, the Senator John A. DeFrancisco Community Arts Grant and the Onondaga County Individual Artist Grant, administered by the Cultural Resources Council of Syracuse and Onondaga County and a grant from the Puffin Foundation.
